We found building with D.R. Gordon Building to be one of the best decisions we made throughout the design and building phases.  D.R. Gordon Building came highly recommended to us and to our benefit we now have a beautiful quality home, built within budget and completed ahead of schedule. Right from the start David presented as a very well organised and  professional Ballarat builder. 

There were no surprises along the way and with good communication we were kept up to date with progress. Decisions were made in the early stages of the project which resulted in all building activities running to schedule.  Any minor changes or improvements along the way were not an issue and nothing was too much trouble. Superb quality

Everyone gets a shock when I say that building would be one of the best experiences I've ever had.  I was lucky to get a superb builder, fantastic organiser and really decent person, David Gordon.  Right from the beginning I knew by the way David spoke proudly of the houses he'd recently built and the pride he showed in his work that I would choose him.  David took care of all the permits and red tape.  All the headaches gone!! 

Talking with David really clarified how my house was going to look and he was able to offer some great suggestions. The selection process David uses really helped to get things organised.  Special things I wanted like detailed architraves and skirtings and even a specially mixed mortar color were no trouble at all.  Every supplier that David directed me to was resourseful and friendly. 

Nothing was ever too much trouble and every supplier was willing to lend me samples of stock and colors to help finalise decisions.  Everything ran on time-actually early!  David is super organised.  The quality of the building is superb.  I feel like I am staying in a five star hotel.  There are so many extra things I didn't expect to get and I know friends that have built didn't get the things I've got.  I can't decide which part I love the best.  Maybe it's the magnificent textures of the timber stairs and floor, or the warmth of the house with its log heater and fulll insulation or the ease in which every drawer and door open and close, or the quiet warmth of ducted heating, shiny tiles, rich chocolate carpet, views outside throiugh massive windows, easy access in and out, or ample storage space.If you are thinking about building, do it.  Make sure you get David Gordon.

Building workmanship second to none

My wife and I were looking to build something different; our dream home.  After speaking with our architect he suggested we speak with a local Ballarat builder, David Gordon as he thought that David could help bring our dream to a reality.  After meeting with David we knew he was the builder for us.  From the moment we chose David as our builder we knew we had made the right decision.  His level of service was second to none, he is courteous, does what he says he will do when he says he will do it.  Nothing is too much of a problem for David and we were impressed with his outstanding workmanship.  The services offered by David Gordon is over and above anything we had experienced with other builders, and I know that I would use David time and time again for any future projects.
